If you’ve already made your decision and just want to dive in, here is a link to our application. If you’re not totally sure and want to learn more about how to become a webcam model, please read on. I’ve put a lot of work into setting this page site up to give clear, mostly unbiased facts about this line of work. I did this so that hopefully you’ll pick Pandora Entertainment as the company you want to work for.
I am going to do my very best to give you all of the information that you want and need in order to make a reasonable decision for yourself about being a webcam model. I understand that this can feel like a huge decision, so I fully encourage you to do your homework. You’ll never receive any pressure from me to join this business. If you decide that this is what you want to do, great, I’d love to have you work with us. If you decide that it’s not what you want, then as far as we know we’ve both lost nothing. Now, let’s get down to specifics things potential webcam models should know.
The first question almost everyone wants answered is related to money and specifically “How much money can I make as a webcam model?” I’ve written an article about that here. How Much Money Do Webcam Models Make? Short answer: Depends :). If you are good looking and hard working, then there is probably a lot of potential for you here. The article discusses some generalities in the industry, our exact pay scale, and what you can reasonably expect to make if hired to be a webcam model by Pandora Entertainment.
The next logical question is always, “well what do I have to do to actually make money?” To answer that we have, How Do Webcam Models Actually Make Money? This article will give you a general walk through of the actual process of performing as a webcam model and tell you what it looks like. This is the very basic outline and is more technical in nature.
That question has a lot of sub questions that can crop up, but basically what people really want to know is how badly they will have to degrade themselves sexually and violate their morals in order to earn a few bucks. The reality of this business is so far removed from that notion. It is always the models with a ton of self respect and firm limits on what they will/will not do that end up making the most money. To address this in more detail I wrote What Will I Have To Do On Webcam? This discusses the various types of customers you’ll encounter, types of private shows people like, and the various levels of intensity you may experience from clients. If you’re totally new to the idea of being a webcam model this should be required reading for you. It’s important to note that nothing is ever required, you do what you’re comfortable with, and learn more about yourself and your limits as you go.
Another concern that almost always comes up is related to Safety & Security When Webcam Modeling. That is an article I wrote addressing some of those issues. Our models safety is our top concern here. We do a lot on our end to ensure it, which I explain in the article. It also talks about some things you can do yourself to ensure your privacy (never share your stage name with people you know in real life, for example). In reality, it isn’t really dangerous and the majority of the privacy steps we take are just because it’s more convenient to do so that way. Your concern shouldn’t be with customers finding out who you are, as this absolutely never happens. It should be with maintaining privacy from your normal friends and family if you don’t want them to know, as these tend to be the nosey types that could make your experience unenjoyable if you let them find. This depends on your friends I guess :) and is totally up to you.
That’s quite a bit of stuff to read already and as you go through it you should start to get a very clear picture of what it means to be a webcam model. For a lot of the smaller questions that didn’t warrant a full article on their own I put together a list of Frequently Asked Questions that you can reference anytime.
If you read through all of that and are thinking you might want to be a webcam model. It might be time to read this article titled, “An Introduction to PandoraLand!!! (How to make the decision to be a webcam model or not).” This is a short post I wrote about the decision making process. It’s entirely your choice. I promise we only want you here if you really want to be here. This business is not for everyone. That being said, it’s a fantastic way to make money online and requires no long term commitment.
At this point you should have some good information. That being said, I feel it would be almost dishonest if I didn’t tell you that you do have a ton of options on where to work. Pandora Entertainment is not the only game in town. I happen to think that we’re the best, but there is a small chance that I am biased in that regard. In reality, we’re not a big fancy company. We’re mostly just kids fooling around. I mean like really kids! Most of the people here are under the age of 25 (myself included). For legal reasons I should probably mention that everyone is over the age of 18, and we have all the appropriate documentation to demonstrate that. Most of our models are between the ages of 18-24 with a few outliers that are older. We spend our days having fun, goofing off, and making a lot of money. We also throw awesome parties!
If you choose not to work with Pandora Entertainment then it’s like I said, as far as we know we’ve both lost nothing. We wish you well either way.
If on a happier note you’ve done your homework and decide that you want to be a webcam model. Now is the time to fill out an application. No Pressure!
Pura Vida,
Jordan Keith, Founder of Pandora Entertainment
