What Will I Have To Do On Webcam?

Written By Jordan Keith Topic: Be A Webcam Model, FAQ, Making Money, Webcam Modeling

Our webcam models all perform in their own special way. It’s important to note right away that there are zero “requirements”. If you are ever asked to do something that you are uncomfortable with you just say no. Even if the customer is paying you.

There is a big difference between things that might be awkward or uncomfortable the first few times you do them and things you actually won’t do. I encourage everyone to push their boundaries and get more comfortable with a wide range of things, it’s fun. However, most of us do have “limits” and would have a problem breaching them. I absolutely encourage you to respect your own limits. For a lot of the guys on our site, most of whom are straight, any sort of “anal action” is a limit for them. Customers will always ask but a polite no usually is completely satisfactory.

We all have different limits, decide what yours are, if you have a good enough reason to yourself to justify the limit then don’t do it. By the way, “I don’t feel like it” is a plenty good enough reason not to do something :).

That being said, you might find it helpful to know what sort of stuff you will actually end up doing on webcam. If this post wasn’t explicit enough yet, it’s about to be. Proceed at your own comfort level :).

#1. Vanilla Stuff

Most models are surprised at how normal/easy going a lot of customers end up being. I absolutely love when a new model emails me and says, “Wow this guy took me private tonight and just wanted to sit and talk to me for over an hour! lol!” I get some version of this a few times per week, and it’s awesome!

Our site is adult in nature and there is plenty of sexuality being displayed by our models. But some models enjoy that more than others. The ones who like it end up spending a lot of time doing sex shows, and it works great for them. Other people are more reserved and not as open to hardcore sex shows, this is how a lot of models are starting out. These models will end up having different types of shows. Your account executive will get to know you and help you find the best fit for you and teach you how to attract the customers you want.

A real killer is to try and pretend to be something you are not. Everyone will be able to tell. If you feel uncomfortable getting naked. Then have fun while a customer spends 30-40 minutes in private show with you just talking to you to make you comfortable and help you get there. I promise this happens a lot more than you might think.

Then there are plenty of customers who are on the site not for sex at all but for some emotional connection with an attractive individual. Some of them just want to be paid attention to and made to feel important. Others will be honored just to have you chat with them in private.

Mostly the “vanilla level” stuff tends to be just talking/chatting, fully dressed. It’s quite awesome. And it makes up a decent amount of the paying customers on the site. I roughly guess around 20-25% of the people are here for vanilla stuff. A lot more like a mix. Let’s call these the Swirls. They are part vanilla part milk chocolate :). And it’s pretty often about a 50-50 split.

#2. Milk Chocolate.

This is the medium flavor range. Here we are talking about shows that are usually sexual/erotic in nature. A few types of common shows that I’d pull under the milk chocolate category would be:

  • The model getting naked and the customer admiring their body during chat.
  • Lots of different role plays & fantasies. Sometimes you’d get naked for this others it doesn’t really add anything to the experience for the customer.
  • Any normal masturbation show for a male or female model. (In the “less extreme category)

A lot of vanilla customers want a taste of chocolate now and then. Plenty of customers are just here for the chocolate side and will ask you to do specific things. Again this comes back to your limits.

Expect your first few “chocolate’ shows to be a little uncomfortable, this isn’t something most people are used to ahead of time. Just have fun and don’t do anything you don’t want to.

#3. Dark Chocolate.

Now we get to the fun flavor… Dark chocolate!

Here I am going to try and give you a preview into some darker shades of the human psyche. If you like dark chocolate this can be a ton of fun and lead to some crazy long private shows. Personally, I like it, but it’s not for everyone. I recommend trying a bite of dark chocolate from time to time and then deciding whether it’s for you or not. You might find it’s just the right flavor for you.

Examples of Dark Chocolate:

  • BDSM: Bondage roleplays, actual bondage if you have the supplies, Dominant/submissive roleplay, Master/slave roleplay.
  • Fetishes: BDSM is in itself a fetish and has a lot of shades to it. Then we have…. choking fetish, foot fetish (more milk chocolate but some of them are intense customers), asphyxiation fetish (want you to hold your breath), kidnap/rape roleplays, pain infliction, wax play, abuse roleplays, humiliation fetish (customers who want you to insult them and hurt their feelings)…

I could go on and list about 100 more dark fetishes that you might run into but there is really no way to prepare you for them :). Some of this can be fun, plenty more of it can just be downright weird/uncomfortable. BDSM stuff is fun to explore. Some of the more advanced roleplay scenario’s essential feature the customer trying to get you to cross a line.

I encourage you to indulge people’s fantasies up to the point of your comfort. Dark Chocolate customers will probably make up less than 1% of the traffic on the site unless you are actively trying to attract them. Then they will show up more often (if for example you are in the bondage/fetish category).

I felt I had to mention the darker sides of some customers desires just so that if you choose to go ahead with this you’ll not be surprised and freaked out if someone comes into your chat room and asks about it.

This list pretty much “covers it”. There are a lot of things not mentioned in terms of customers desires. But these 3 categories cover the different ranges you’ll find.

In case you think that looks like a list of what you’re required to do on webcam, understand that it isn’t at all. That’s what customers may ask of you. What you choose to indulge is entirely your choosing.
